This is a list of the charities we supported from our 2007 Charity Month event, along with the percentage of the total month's income ($5688.19) donated to each. All amounts were donated through CanadaHelps.org; here is the donation receipt.
Since most of our customers are not in Canada, we wanted to make sure that international development was an important part, hence the choice of Oxfam and CUSO. The Cancer Society and the Arthritis Society support research which is useful to everyone and shared internationally. The other two charities do good work in our local community.
